About us:<\/strong><\/h2>\n

I am Gustavo Caneda, one of the partners of TecnoCient\u00edfica SA. I would like to tell you our story:<\/p>\n

It was mid-1991, working on the classic Palermo Rural Exhibition (it lasted three weeks in those days!) When I came across my first DICKEY-john brand NIR Spectrophotometer, designed for the measurement of grains and derivatives. Their representatives knew little about how to develop this expensive instrument to market it in our country. They placed it on the counter of their stand and asked me: “Do you have any idea how to make this team work and sell?”<\/em> . I never imagined that accepting that challenge would lead me to create and run my own company, together with my great friend and colleague Cristian Christiansen, for almost 20 years!<\/p>\n

We founded TecnoCient\u00edfica in July 2001, with the firm intention of becoming the first company in Latin America capable of developing Spectrometric Technologies Applied to Quality Control and Processes. Until that moment the providers were of European or North American origin, and the understanding of their potentialities in these latitudes was very scarce.<\/p>\n

Despite being the prelude to one of the biggest crises suffered by Argentina in 2001, we established ourselves in the market by betting on knowledge and after-sales service. Today we can proudly say that we are leaders in the region, having created several different platforms of equipment and systems: We are now in the third generation of ultra-fast measurement instruments, in real time, without the use of chemical reagents and remote transmission capacity.<\/p>\n

Our proposal is excellence in dealing with our clients, focusing on technical advice. What we sell is much more than just equipment: We offer all our experience, helping our users to improve their processes.<\/p>\n

We have won several awards for Technological Innovation using NIR spectrometry and recently obtained the first patent in the USA for our T-Scanner (the only one of its kind worldwide) developed in conjunction with JORGENSEN SA, the most important manufacturer of Automatic Scalers in the country.<\/p>\n
